Alzheimer's Disease


Symptoms:
  • Memory Loss
  • Challenges in planning or solving problems
  • Difficulty completing familiar tasks
  • Confusion with time or place
  • Trouble understanding visual images and spatial relationships
  • New problems with words in speaking or writing
  • Decreased or poor judgment
  • Changes in mood or personality

Hey Kristyna!

I agree that this disease disrupts the Nervous system. For example, it probably takes someone longer to do a simple task rather than have the Neurons (Inter, Motor, and, Sensory) to their roles quickly in an activity that's been done multiple times of the past!

Alzheimer's seems as though there is an increased deficiency in the brain. However, does that actually effect the brains physicality (as shown in the picture) as well?
