I'm not quite sure what happened at the top of my post so i'm going to attempt to fix any confusion.

The first footnote was supposed to say:

*Small, white, blisters that surround the mouth

Cold sores definitely affect the bodies integumentary system because the skin on the face gets bubbled up and blistered. Oh man and i always thought i never had a cold sore before so to figure out that i've probably had many without me knowing kinda grosses me out!! I will most likely be buying a few tubes of blistex just incase i notice one of those suckers!! =]
